We recommend Tanjung Gemok as the departure point because Cataferry gives a reliable and comfortable service, has a fixed schedule so tickets can be booked months in advance (www.cataferry.com). Ferry tickets with Bluewater must be booked in advance: call +6094131362.

The departure timetable from Mersing varies with the high tide and is only released mid-month for the following month. Bluewater ferries can be contacted at +6077994811 and +6077998518. Also, foreigners are charged an extra Johor National Park’s entrance fee in addition to the Tioman Marine Park entrance fee.

We are in Air Batang (pronounced Ayer Batang) village, aka ABC, which is usually the 4th stop as the ferry disembarks passengers at the various villages on the island (Genting, Paya, Tekek, Air Batang and Salang).

We offer a free pick up service for luggage from the jetty if you let us know the time of the ferry you intend to take and whether it is from Mersing or Tanjung Gemok.
