Making a booking, payment and refunds:
From March-October and while Malaysia’s borders remain closed to international tourists full payment by bank transfer to our Maybank account is required to secure a reservation.
If the Malaysian government reintroduces travel restrictions and no one is able to travel to Tioman we will refund the full cost of your stay.
If events happen that mean you have to cancel your holiday we will attempt to take another booking and refund you for the nights someone else pays for the chalet. However, if no one else takes the room we will not refund your payment but ask you to book at a later date so you don’t lose and neither do we.
From November-February, payment is not required to secure a booking.
We try and have rooms ready when guests arrive but occasionally people arrive on an early morning ferry for a room which is being vacated at 12 midday (check out time). If that happens we make guests comfortable in our reception until the room is ready. With Covid 19 deep cleaning it takes an hour to prepare a room so such guests can move in around 1pm.
